+1 for overflow tube. It probably just ran a bit hotter than normal, and should not be a big deal as long as it stays within normal operating range. I have a manual, and frequently have to leave it out of OD since I have a 6 cylinder engine. If you read the owner's manual, it will probably tell you not to run it in OD when towing anyway.
