Please be careful using 4 wheel low ... it is for certain situations ... particularly under 15 mph ... so if tires are spinning it could be damaging.

" ... When you drive in 4Lo your vehicle/wheels create more torque, 4Lo is the opposite of 4Hi as it creates less traction, and it wouldn’t be suitable for driving in snow, ice, mud, or dry roads. 4Lo is meant for high incline rock climbs, when towing, and maneuvering a heavy trailer. On 4Lo the only way you won’t experience slipping/spinning tires would be if your truck/suv has a manual lock differential, or locker for short, these style differentials provide equal wheel speed that prevents a loss of traction. Tow straps are MUCH better than chains. But chains can work if used carefully. 4lo is not the best option for mud. You need wheel speed to sling mud out of the tread. 4hi is usually a better option. But there are exceptions. Driving off road is more art than science. It take some practice. Sometimes you need help, or a shovel to dig yourself out. Sometimes both.
