Default New truck came in today!

Well picked up my new truck today and was pretty pleased to see the payload came in higher than I expected. It is actually only a few pounds less than my F-250! Here is a pic of the truck and payload sticker. The other pic is of the payload sticker in the F-250. Should be able to tow my 5ver with no problem. (it's the one in the sig)

Wow, what a beauty! I might have to get one of those in another 100,000 miles. I suspect the engine will be fine but Vermont winters will have taken a toll on the body.

I envy you guys who can take all that winter stuff and not go mad! Lol! I'm definitely a Southern boy and hardcore cold-natured. I hate it when it gets down below 45 degrees. And funny thing, I like to ride motorcycles cross country and encounter the cold stuff many times. Go figure.

Looks familiar, aside from the 2013 grille Must be 2wd?

It will be interesting to see if it lives up to your expectations, coming from a SD.

Beautiful truck and great choice on color! I am also interested to hear how it compares to your Superduty when towing your trailer! I wish you the best of luck with it.

The secret is a love of winter sports. I ski and love going down a steep, challenging trail or turning through the woods.

Buck50HD, I only plan to tow it with the new truck a couple times a year and probably no more than 1000 miles one way. I know right off the bat it won't get the mileage of the F-250, but I really plan on using this truck as more of a daily driver. I'm still keeping the F-250 as I have some heavy equipment that I need it for since it has the B&W turnover ball hitch that I use for the gooseneck stuff. Going to try and put the 5th wheel in this week if it will not rain like it has the last 2 days. I'll try and post back when I do get to tow the camper.

SkiSmuggs, we do pretty much the same around here except it is with ATV's and mud! Go fast and avoid the trees. Lol!

I've got one like this too, '13 grille and all!

So far mine is living up, coming from a Ram 2500. Mind you, it's been a week and I have 4100KM.

You're gonna love the HD Payload package.

Got the Fold-A-Cover, BedRug and the RAS system installed today. Couldn't work on the Reese hitch due to the storm. No electricity for 5 hours this morning and it is pouring cats and dog with a little bit of hail. Good thing I have a shop I could pull my truck into! Oh Well!!!

Well finally got the chance to get the fifth wheel hitch installed along with a few other goodies today. Weather here has been crazy even for Louisiana! Here are a couple of pics of the hitch and the truck hooked up to the camper. Pleased with how little it squatted the truck with the full weight of the pin on it. Had to adjust the hitch height up a little. Trailer was only about 5 inches above the bed. Now to take it out on the road and set the brake controller.
