New to the Towing Game
I'm currently running a 6" lift with 35's and was wondering what hitch I needed to pull a 500 lb trailer with a 200 lb Aerator sitting on her. Thanks in advance for the help!

do you have a tow package with a 2" receiver or just a ball on the bumper (either will do it for 700lb).
If you have a receiver, get a ball mount with enough drop to level out the trailer.

First law of the jungle is that the floor of the trailer must be level, front to rear, when loaded and on the road. So that eliminates use of the provision to add a ball to your step bumper, because the bumper is way too high in the air to result in a level trailer.
If you have the towing pkg with the receiver hitch under the rear bumper, then all you need is a ball mount with enough drop to result in a level trailer when on the road. The one frieed linked to has a 4" drop, but you'll probably need a ball mount with more than 4" drop. Measure from the top of the receiver opening to the ground, then measure from the top of the coupler on the level trailer to the ground. The difference in those two measurements is approximately the amount of drop you need. ETrailer.com has ball mounts with various amounts of drop/rise.
In addition to the ball mount, you'll also need ball. The ball must be the correct size to match the coupler on the trailer, with shank size that will match the hole in your ball mount, so be sure and buy the correct ball.

The bottom flange of the trailers ball cup will be about 1 inch above the ball mount tab on the truck when connected. Crank the trailer to a position of level, or just a tiny bit nose high, and measure from the ground up. Now measure from the ground up to the roof of the trucks receiver tube. The difference between the two measurements, plus 1 inch, is the drop required (hitch drop is measured from the inside top of the tube). In your case you don't really need to worry about squatting because your tongue weight is only going to be about 70 pounds.
