Default New tow beast

It's official, I no longer have a F150. I've had F150's for almost 10 years now and yesterday we made the jump to the next truck. .

2016 F350 XLT with XTR plus. Has the fifth wheel prep package (which is fantastic) amongst other goodies. My 2012 is currently sitting at the dealer waiting for its next lucky owner. That truck was made to haul and it sure as heck did.

How does the ride compare? Thinking about that solid front axle.

Stiffer ride for sure, not exactly a wash board but less forgiving. My commute is over highway, about 25km each way and not overly rough. Apart from that the beast will be used largely for hauling and once some weight gets on it the ride will soften. Overall it is worth the stiffer ride.

Did you have a HD Payload F150 before the SD?

Yes, my 2012 was HD payload plus tow package. Payload at 2177. 7 lug wheels. It already was a bit of a stiff ride so that is why I don't find the PSD all that much different.

That's a beautiful truck. When I finally get rid of mine, it's going to be a f350. ENJOY.

They ride pretty good if you ask me...like an IFS on a F-150.

Beautiful truck...the 6.7 is a beast but a quiet one! What gearing did you get...3.55 or 3.73?
