Default New GN Trailer.

Couple pics of our new GN I just took delivery on last night. This has been the plan all along and is why I traded my 13 5.0 last year for the SD. The trailer is 42ft long, 12982lbs empty and right at 20k loaded. Its riding on 8k torsion axles and 17.5 in Load Range H truck tires. Tows and tracks well, but does bounce a bit when empty.

nice looking rig! Once its full it will ride a lot smoother. I drove a rig similar to yours (GM CCLB Dualie Duramax) with a 37' enclosed GN race car trailer (over 26k pounds loaded). When that thing was loaded, it rode pretty nice. Big bumps you will still feel for sure, but the smaller ones you hardly notice.

Looking at a cushioned coupler to smooth the empty towing a bit since we also want to use it to camp without horses at times. I like the looks and reviews on this one.

That link did not resolve into a clickable link in your post. However, when I quoted your post, it resolved into the clickable link in the quote. But before I knew that, I cut and pasted it as a URL, and it resolved to the PopCushion gooseneck coupler:
