Default New 2018 King Ranch Hitch Only 12,200 rated??? but Ford Specs show 12700

Looked under hitch and seen a sticker that says on hitch, on my new truck was rated at 12200 lbs. The specs online says 12700 for my config. Max tow package etc. Then i look in the book and it says for my config. its 18400!! combined towing. So now to payload to see if its even a reality... my yellow sticker says payload is 1566 (7000gvwr truck) 1566 - 7000 leaves a 5434 truck (around about) + 300 lbs of driver etc is 5734lbs minus say 18400 combined the book says is leaving 12666 lbs left over to pull. The hitch is only rated for 12200? Do the new 2018 need to upgrade hitch to keep up with tow specs??? I understand payload also, so add 10% (of a 12,666 trailer) to the 5734lbs payload is 5734+1266 = 7000 gvwr......

not that i will ever load a half ton this much just wonder why the hitch is knocking you out of 500lbs-1000 lbs??

also learned that all these max numbers are only good with a weight distribution hitch after 5000 lbs of trailer or 500 tongue weight

Does anyone else have a 18 with a max tow package? if so are there hitches limiting them to 12,200?
