Hate to say it, but I agree. I had a 5900 lbs TT with my 5.4 3.55's and I sure as H3LL new it was back there and there isn't that much of a stretch between gears. Maybe it's relative to driver sensativity...

Unfortunately the place only has a 4" model and a 12" I took down a few trees that just some of the limbs alone are over 6" thick. Unfortunately it's pine otherwise I would split it and use it for firewood.

Whichever the case, tell 'em the truck is strong enough to haul Al Borland's mother, so surely it is strong enough to haul their dinky trailer a few miles. So bring on whatever paperwork they got and let's git 'er done.

Really though, your truck can handle it!!! Just beware the tongue weight, and the effect it will have on steering & braking when the leverage of the weight in back lightens the weight in the front.
Haha, that's funny I'll have to mention the Al Borlands mom comment.

Thanks Everyone for your help, I talked with them again and told them I'll bring in the manual to show them. Should finally be able to finish the project.

Calm down man, I did not say I was climbing mountains or running slalom courses. It has a Reese load-leveling hitch that really keeps the truck in control without sway. And I am running mostly on level terrain. I do have to keep aware that it is behind me because the truck is controlling it. I was concerned mostly with stopping, but my trailer brake controller (Tekonsha Prodigy P2) works great and that is not an issue. Sure, I would love to have a 6.7 diesel for power, but I am not trying to race people. And I am not whipping the steering wheel. My whole point is that I was very pleased with the way the F150 handled the towing.
