Default Navigation assistance

Was wondering if anyone had a recommendation for a maps GPS or app that would be satisfactory for navigating while pulling a TT.

Ideally it would offer an option to avoid back roads yet still take you the most direct route. Some roads just aren't suitable for towing a large TT.

With going so many places I'm not familiar with, it'd help to sort this out in advance.

NC,
Not sure if you are asking about phone apps only.
But we use an RV specific Garmin GPS (rv660lmt) that has settings for Rv type, height, length, etc. that help with navigating with our trailer.
Maybe take a look.

Just options in general. Although a Phone app would be preferred since I already have the phone. At least I know there is a gps option.

Is it well worth the $60.00 cost?

I tried it, It's a good app, but I don't like using my phone for navigation. I prefer my Garmin over the factory nav as well.
