With that kinda weight in it you should deff consider air bags. Even with 1000 pounds in the bed air bags will help. And with 2900 pounds air bags will keep your truck level, headlights pointing the right way at night and keep you from bottoming out and broken leafs just my .02

Well it depends if you wanna go all out with on board compressor and wireless controller for the bags you're probably looking around 5 Hun here in Canada anyways. ( things are always cheaper in the u.s) and if you just wanted bags that you fill up before you leave to go haul can probably be had for under 2 Hun. But they make carrying loads that heavy a he'll of a lot safer!

I'll have to consider air bags, can I have air bags on with a level block in the rear? Or would that not work out?

Depends on the size of the block. I do not have airbags.... Yet, but the shop where I am going to buy mine said they will work no problem with the extra 1.5" of lift I have in the back.

I think a much easier fix for your sagging issue is to not haul double your rated payload.

I found these on Summit Racing. I would look at air bags that will minimize how much they limit suspension travel if you take your truck off road a lot.
