If that doesnt make it handle like the 14 did then looks like a new WDH is in the picture.

On the power side though, so much better with 3.55 vs 3.15. No more drone from being in 4th. It stayed in 5th lockup for the most part, only unlocking uphill, and held the speed well.
My trailer is a bit smaller at 26 ft and 5700 lbs but I get no sway using a Blue-Ox hitch on my 2015 XLT 4x2. I haven't weighed everything , so I comment on the weight balance. I do like the Blue-Ox hitch.

I think I have figured the issue, dawned on my while talking to my friend today and explaining the setup. I overlooked one measurement when trying to determine the issue. Once this tail waggin at 70 is gone, then the truck will make a good tow vehicle. If I'm right, then wont need to buy another hitch.

This bugger has NO problems getting up and moving. When I got on the Interstate o the way home a Dudge pulling a trailer moved over, and by the time he got even with me I was already doing 70 so he had to floor it to get in front. Eventually though I got around and passed. Never saw him again. Brakes are very good too(powerstops). Traffic slowed quickly and I had to really push the pedal down and the whole thing slowed down very quickly, nice and straight.

You aren't going to keep us in suspense as to what the problem is are you, I agree that it is a great tow vehicle, I would just like to get rid of the sway also.

Two things I'd change and one other thing you can try.
1st. Put 45-47 psi in those rear tires and 44-45 in the front. As a minimum use C rated tires.
2nd. Bring your rear end up to factory not level ( around 2") first then level your trailer with your bars....and you shouldn't need rear sway but I'd recommend the hellwig ( you might need to modify it or the air bag hardwear )

If these don't help you could try disabling the anti-sway. Can't remember off hand how but it's in the manual. (Pressing and holding a button I think.....pretty simple)

Good luck.

Are you sure about disabling the vehicle's anti-sway. This is your last line of defense when it all goes to hell. I had mine engage and glad I had it, I have since moved on to the Propride hitch as a result.

I'm saying try it and if it stops the problem great. See your dealer to get some technical advice. Sometimes the truck and trailer can fight each other. As for the last line of defence.......well I think if your depending on the rig to get you out of a mess then your into a hell of mess. I don't depend on them. Good defensive driving and preventing a situation Is far better and more dependable. If it truly helped you then that's great but I'm sorry to say there was a situation that went unrecognized. Were you hauling to much or traveling to fast??

The answer on mine is, I completely forgot that not only does the WDH transfer weight to the front axle, it also transfers a nearly equal amount to the trailer. Since I transferred more than I should, the unladen well height is 37", and fully hitched, 36 7/8", I also transferred too much back to the trailer, making it prone to sway.

A complete and total DOH moment when I realized it. Once I remove a shim and get the head tilt back to where it was prior to my last truck, then it should be spot on and tow just like my last truck did.

I had the same problem with trailer sway, look in the mirrors and see the trailer drag back & forth. The dealer said everything was dialed in I took one more chain link on the bars and now runs perfect. I have problems with severe sagging of the rear if I don't use the bars to move to and from storage and are at odds as to add timbren or SumoSprings? Don't want to affect ride with no trailer?
