Major sway
Hello all, I'm new here and tried finding some info on trailer sway! i have a 2016 F150 Lariat EB (love the truck) but got a new trailer (total length 30.5') this year coming in at 7600 total weight. had a 1000 lb lighter one last year and not an issue. I have tried so many things to get it to stop, no luck - WD hitch setup proper according to trailer dealer. I have bags in it and find that its better at ~40lbs -- any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

Trying to figure it out!
From all of the stories I've read about WD hitches and dealers you should find someone else to help you. I would bet if you got actual tongue weight of your trailer and so,e pictures connected people here will be able to get you really close to driving like your previous.

Thanks for the reply, when i have it hooked up and air in the bags the truck and trailer are totally level??!! I did the measurement thing with the triler off then connected, no more than 1/4" difference (measuring at the rear of the truck anyway). I have heard and read other places that the truck might be just too light and that a 250 is the way to go?
I'm considering as i don't know what else to try!!!

Do you have a friction bar sway control on the trailer?

They have been working fine for millions for over 40 years... Lol....My TT is only about 6k lbs. I have towed it with and without. I can definitely tell a difference.

My dealer said the WDH was set correctly. Damn near flipped it on the first pull. Spoke to the hitch manufacture, it was way off! TT was try to lift my truck the way they had it. DO NOT listen to those idiots, do it yourself.
