Lets see your campers being towed

yeah, that picture definitely was hard to see the color. The truck is actually magnetic! We upgraded from a 2008 Nissan Pathfinder. I miss my Pathfinder, but the F-150 is better on every regard. It's much more comfortable to throw the family into.

Finally got the new camper out. Had some water leak issues from some of the hail damaged covers I haven't replaced yet. Took it to the cat scale to weigh it so I can buy a weight distribution hitch. 820lb tongue weight.

This picture popped up in my Facebook memories today from 10 years ago, the day I brought our first TT home from the dealer. This truck did well over years I towed my TT's with it.
We have a seasonal campsite now, this was the last time I pulled our new TT, 3 years ago.

When i first hooked up to it, the experience was scary, and I have towed a lot of trailers like this. It took me some time to get everything dialed in. I like the way it tows now, but here was what it took to get there:
LT tires aired up to 65pis rear, 60 front while towing (run 46psi when not towing)
Rancho 9000's rear shocks set on 8 while towing (2 when not)
Hellwig rear sway bar set on stiffest setting
I am running an Equalizer WDH hitch with 7 washers installed
With the trailer loaded, it weights 7000lbs. Crosswinds and semis still move me around a little bit but not too bad. We are taking a trip out to Yellowstone with this setup at the end of this month and i am looking forward to the tow. The truck has no shortage of power to pull it....thats for sure.
If you are looking at this particular model the Grey Wolf 26dbh....id look at the Cherokees instead. They are just a little bit heavier, but they sit higher. I have to be real careful not to drag the rear of the trailer when entering gas stations and such.

Thank you for replying Kallen
Thanks for your reply! We are looking at the cherokee 264dbh but the weight was the worry. Being that it’s larger, it’ll catch more wind. The big rig YouTube guy really scared us and what we were thinking to pull a camper that size.

Here's mine half way up Wolf Creek Pass last October. I downsized from a 2013 Ram 2500 Mega Cab. Had I know this truck would do as well as it is, I'd have ordered the truck and got a few things different than I was able to find off of a lot. I just thought it was going to be temporary when I got it.
