Another hybrid, 12 foot kayak fits on the floor right inside . We do some camping with a group of tenters and tent trailers so the hybrid fits in the smaller campsites. Just installed a 230 watt solar setup so we're self sufficient

Nice setup!

Here's mine... I just got a solar panel installed! It's an 18' Eclipse built ultra light, with 50gallon (each) water, grey and black. I've installed an air compressor, and I carry an inflatable kayak.

Default 2012 Rockwood Roo 23SS

Wow, hybrids are popular around here! We also upgraded from a popup, ('05 Fleetwood/Coleman Resolute) to a new Roo. Bought the EcoBeast first in anticipation of the camper upgrade and everything has been smooth sailing.

Before you ask... No, I don't tow with the tongue jack down or the wheel on. I was parked for the evening and wanted to take the weight off of the hitch. Actually, I've already upgraded to a power tongue jack. Cranking that thing up an down to get the WDH hooked up was no picnic.

How do you guys like your hybrids? Im looking at buying this same style trailer off of a friend for around $8k
http://www.rvtrader.com/listing/2003...1SSO-102967376

Any issues to be concerned about such as the tent portions leaking etc? Outside noises more of an issue than a non hybrid TT given the tent ends?

I love my hybrid (Jayco 23B). No issues with the tent ends leaking as of yet and outside noise is just as you would expect. My family likes the tent "feel" of a popup with the amenities of a hardside TT.

Only downfall I had was that if camping in cool weather and you run the furnace, the tent ends get condensation on them. Enough that it drips on the beds. Also for some reason I had a few instances when the tent ends seemed to let water in while closed and in storage.

That's a good size trailer... What is your fuel economy like?

OK. I'll join in. First time hooked to this truck. No WDH hooked up... just moving it in the yard. Weighed 5400lbs on the scale on my way home.
