Hmm... doesn't look quite level. You sure the WDH is properly set up?

To be honest with you I bought it in November and hadnt had a chance to try it out yet.
That couch is not a queen size for sure. It is about 6' long (tops). My plan is to remove the couch and put in a lightweight bed frame and a normal full/twin size mattress. Until that happens my son will take that and wife and I will take the lower bunk.
We bought it knowing all that but liked everything else about the trailer.
One thing especially is having a kitchen on the "driver side" meaning you dont have exhausts blowing out under the awning. All other small trailers I have seen had kitchen on the "passenger side" (trailer entrance side) and to me it was a problem.

Thanks for the heads up. I think the couch bed size will be ok for one average adult. That was my only concern. Good to know about the kitchen exhaust. I would have never thought about that! Thanks for answering my questions.

Glad I could help Cisco.

I would have never thought about the kitchen either until we were sitting under our friends' awning on a rainy night and I started to breathe the fridge exhaust that was right behind me. Prior trailer we owned had the kitchen on the other side too so I never paid any attention.

Have fun shopping.

Well I bought it today! Now to work out the time frame logistics and getting it home. Fun fun.

Default No Picture..........But

I have no picture as of yet but for the last 6 years, I've towed a Cougar 27RKS 5th wheel trailer with my 2011 F150 5 liter, rear wheel drive, super cab, 3.55 rear end, and 6 1/2 foot bed. The dry weight of the 5th wheeler is 7,140 lbs. and it's 30' 5" long. As of this date, have not had any problems. My F150 according to Ford's tow guide is good to tow up to 9,500 lbs. and I'm not sure how much weight we carry inside the trailer, but we're probably pushing the limit in capacity. So Far, no problems.

Getting ready to head out next week for a road trip to Sacramento , Lake Tahoe, Reno...then 97 back up to Vancouver Island!

There will be a WDH used....just in case some of you caught that. I was just moving the trailer in our yard. I may have to add weight to the trailer somehow.....it's sitting level now lol. Any one have an idea as to how I can add tongue weight so it allows the WDH to work?

You can add another battery in parallel for extra amp hours. Great for extended camping off the grid. In my case i went with 2 x 6 volt in series.

Just a thought

You don't add weight you adjust the hitch height until you are level loaded and hitched. Takes some trial and error.
