Back from our first trip with our new TT. Towed with 2015 SCREW 2.7 EB. TT is a Coachmen Freedom Express 257 BHS, 28' 7" bumper to hitch, 5419 lbs dry. Fastway E2 WDH. Trip was about 140 miles each way. Noticed some sway, but it's our first trip towing a TT and I grew a bit more comfortable with it over time. Drove 65 mph most of the trip. Had 10-15 mph winds on the way there, around 10 mph on the way back.

I have the Fastway E2 as well, let me know if you need help with the setup at all, I've re-done it a few times now...

What was your gas mileage like? We have similar size trailer setups.

Dealer set me up the WDH only using 4 washers and the ball mount one spot too high. I dropped the ball mount one setting and ended up add 2 more washers to get more weight on the front axle. Was able to see the improvement via two CAT scale readings and reduced front fender rise.

I got about 9.4 MPG while towing.

Nice, that's about exactly what I experienced as well. I had to drop mine two mount settings (resulting in requiring a new longer shank) and added a washer. Frankly, the dealership did a horrible job setting mine up, the shank bolts were not even torqued down. I'm running about 2" of drop and 6 washers. I averaged 8.1 MPH on my ~500 mile trip this weekend in flat central Texas

On the way there, I ran 60-65 MPH and got 8 MPG. On the way back, I ran 70-72 MPH (I gave up trying to get good gas mileage) and got 8.1 MPG

You can tell anything above 70 MPH the truck feels more unstable for sure. I would not suggest running any faster!

Looks pretty good

Is the trailer nose high a bit? Maybe drop another hole on your shank?

it was a little nose high when i took the pic. level would be 21.25" and it was right around 22" at the ball.

i just let a little air out of my firestone airbags and it settled in at 21" at the ball.

I'm about to install my Firestones, but I'm concerned about raising my ball height too much. I'm already on the lowest setting of the $90 shank I JUST bought

Bags should have nothing to do with your setup. Setup your hitch with having zero air in the bags, then after you have dialed in your hitch, pump enough air to level the truck. Make sense?
