Lets see your campers being towed

32' bunkhouse. 9200 gvwr. 2010 fx4, max tow package, integrated brake controller, 5.4, 3.73 gear ratio, 11,200 max tow rating. Had to buy an equilizer hitch. This is our first travel trailer, I bought it two weeks ago and this weekend was our first camping trip in it. The truck does ok towing it but I kind of wish I bought a little smaller trailer. The weight of this trailer is pretty light considering its length but for a first time tower, it's a lot of trailer. Accelerating is a bit slow, brakes fine but not sure I want to take it up lookout pass at the Montana Idaho border as my truck does not like pulling it up hills...

So this happened this past weekend. Finally, my wife LOVES our camper. We have wanted to upgrade for about 1 1/2 years so we could take the kids and grandkids, we were on top of each other in the 308RETS. Now I feel like a rookie all over again. Also I'm going to have a stack of TT parts and goodies that are useless to me on a fiver.

My old in-laws had a houseboat on Lake Powell, it's an amazing place! We went every year for a week........ one of these days I'll get back there.

I've been messaged a few times about our ability to work remotely and stay connected while camping, so I thought I would share this info.
We use cell phone signal booster to connect to the internet through our cellphone's hotspot. This helps us stay connected to work when we are remotecamping, which we do most of the time. (not sure why the link is going to homedepot but it's on Amazon as well.)

Another good reference for remote working while camping is a younger couple, theWynn's, that we follow on social media. They have a lot of good information about devices they use to stay connected.

For a good website to help with finding (free) or almost free remote camping sites, we use Campendium. Most reviews report how strong the cell signal is at thecampsite.

Happy Camping (& towing)!
BTW; mandatory towing pic, lol.
