We talked about it for a long time and decided to sell my 16 foot Lund fishing boat that didn't see as much use in the last few years. Picked up the camper last fall and took two quick camping trips with it.
First was really close by at a small family run campground. Second was a disastrous three day weekend shortened by a bunch of loud inconsiderate seasonals at another place. Drove us right out of there and we won't be going back.
We pulled it last year with my 2004 F150 STX 4.6L but Momma said we needed a newer truck...who the hell am I to argue? LOL

How's the 250 pull your new toy hauler?
Same ideas here on the upgrade to a fiver, and why I bought a 250 a few months ago!
Nice rig!

The 5th wheel is large enough that you know it's back there but you get used to it. I came out of a gas engine but the 6.7L has really surprised me with the low end torque. I camp across Northern AZ which is very mountainous and the F-250 does a good job.

The F150 never had a power or stopping problem with the Keystone. I did notice after I upgraded to the 250 the amount of sway I got with the 150. I did all the upgrades; 10ply tires, WDH but I think the short wheel base of the SCREW F150 combined with the large surface area of the trailer made it very susceptible to high winds and passing semi's.
