^^^^mini....that trailer looks interesting. Any more pictures of it setup? I assume it tows well with the reduced front end drag? How much do they weigh?

The factory weight is listed at 3700 iirc. I've made 4 trips from NE Iowa to Corpus Christie, TX with behind the 07 Tacoma V6 double cab 2wd with a 300 lb bike in the bed. The Tacoma pulled it OK even in the hill of The Ozarks but we're thinking of going west and I'm sure the Tacoma would be strained by the altitude. It will be interesting to see how the F150 likes the trailer. I'll be heading north to a dualsport MC ride in June with my bike in the truck box.

Utah Rocks! Uh sorry I couldn't control myself. If your in the Moab area you need to drive Scaffer(sp?) Trail. Views are more than spectacular. I drove it upwards in my Tacoma PreRunner which means the wifey had the best seat but failed to appreciate that fact. She was more concerned with how close the edge was and improving her vocabulary and inventing new word combinations.

I've never seen a Hi-Low with a tip-out. That's a slick camper.

Thanks, we like it. Was the biggest I felt comfy with behind the 07 Tacoma. From the short trial with the F150 the only way I'll know it's back there is the gas mileage.

Tip out

Front interior

Back has the toilet, storage closet, shower. Gas range and oven, Nice sized 3way fridge, sink, AC with optional electric heat. The front bed makes into a dinette but we just leave it as a bed. We don't use the shower so we put bins on the base for storage. There's a HiLo Camper forum with a lot of resources in the library including brochures and floor plans of the various years and models. The company is no longer in business as of 2010 or so but longtime employees still provide support and a lot of parts that are specific to the units such as end caps. The upper half is raised by an electric hydraulic pump, cylinder and cables. not only is the frontal area reduced for less drag but of course the side area is also smaller so side winds and big rig bow wakes have less effect. I dont think I would have considered a regular 24' TT to tow behind the Tacoma with its short 125" wheel base and 4K pound bulk. It might have been a case of the tail wagging the dog.
