Picking up my new trailer in 2 weeks. It's a Kodiak 291RESL. That is if I can get my trade out of the snow bank it is buried in!

We really loved the trailer. Plenty of room, we added a 3" Gel Memory Foam Mattress Topper from Costco and it was very comfortable. Plenty of room for everything, we have a lot of cabinets with nothing in them yet. The combination of the big picture window in the back, the slideout windows and the skylight over the kitchen make it really light and open. We had about a 125 mile drive to the RV park we were going to and unfortunately the wind was blowing pretty strong the whole way. Made the drive a little tense. I have pretty much decided to sell my Ecoboost and buy an F-250. With just my wife and I, the dog, and a tool box we are near the the payload limit (1490 lbs). The tongue weight on the trailer weighing in at about 7500 lbs is 1050 lbs. The combination of short wheelbase and the trailer outweighing the truck by 1700 lbs leads to a less than desirable towing experience. No lack of power, just not real comfortable when the road is bumpy or undulating. Smooth highways, without wind, it's no problem at all. The F-250 has a foot longer wheelbase and weighs about the same as the trailer. If you'd like to see more pics of the trailer I took, go to this link https://flic.kr/s/aHsk6natrN

Thanks, going to look at it on Monday. It's between that and the Bullet 272bhs. Both used 2 times bought in March now owners selling. Hopefully I will get one of the two.
