Default 2011 F150 + Aspen Trail 1900 FB

Maiden voyage, 1083 miles one way to Stephen Foster State Park on the Suwanee River in N. Florida (a very nice campground!). With the 5.0 and a 5*Economy/Tow tune, mileage went from a non-tow 20.6 mpg to a towed 12.4 mpg at 62 mph in the Interstate. Trailer wt=4620 dry. Installed a Blue Ox WD hitch that kept all in line on a windy Spring day thru Indiana.
My sincere thanks to all those on this Thread. Your advice helped me get the most useful and the safest equipment with my first attempt at a TT. The Aspen Trail from Dutchman is well thought out and well made. The dealer? meehhh!!
41 years as a tent camper had to end!

Drag the back of that camper much? I am worried about dragging on our new camper, but it might sit a little higher than yours.

I literally just put my lift on last week, I am going to have to get a drop hitch. No way around it man, the back of the camper sits way too low to the ground for me to feel comfortable pulling it like this. Lol.

I traded in my 2013 STX 4x4 5.0 for my new 2015 XLT FX4 EB...The difference in towing is incredible.

Nice looking setup. You'll enjoy the Ecoboost towing.

Got to bring the new camper home today. 2015 coleman 274bh. Cannot wait for our first trip in it in 2 weeks. Old 10th Gen pulled trailer good through the hills coming home from dealer.
