TST is a great system. Their customer service is second to none.

I highly advise going nowhere till you get the tires replaced. The tire in the side where you had the blowout is likely compromised due to supporting the entire weight on the side where the blowout occurred.

Once you get your tpms, you will wonder how you made it without it.

Id like to find one that can go in the wheels like a new car would have. I dont like the idea that some person could just unscrew em at the grocery store.

I just installed the EezRV Tire system and got my first alarm. The rubber shoulder below the metal part of the tire stem came up too high and didn't let the monitor screw down far enough causing a leak. A little pruning with an Exacto knife took care of it.

They have tiny Allen screws that make them difficult to remove but I get what you are saying.

They have those as well. Be advised that you will need steel valve stems with pretty much any of the external monitors.

Yep, I've removed mine until I get steel valve stems. I read that the regular valve stems flex too much from the extra weight and can fail or bang the sensor on the tire rim.

For those of us that 14in rims, I have been running Kumho 857 trailer tires for 2 years now. They carry more weight, and you can drive faster that 55 safely. I found the Kumho online at TireRack.com.

Also, I have just recently found Kendra Karrier KR03. They have Load D 14 and load E 15 and 16 in tires. etrailer.com carry the Karrier.

I got the Orange Electronics P409S from Amazon for my enclosed car hauler trailer. I just looked and see its available for $129 right now.

I LUV knowing the pressure of my trailer's tires. The tire pressure sensors also send the temperature in the tire to the display unit, and I have the display set to alternate about every 10 seconds between displaying the temp and the pressure.

I mounted the display unit in the empty cubby hole under the 12V receptacle to the right of the center console.
