The 6.2 is really underrated. Four wheeler and fastlanetruck tested it and it had better numbers than the 6.4 hemi and Vortec

What year truck? A 6.5 bed used to be considered a short box. It seems most people consider a 5.5 box now. 8' box are a rare thing now

2014 Coachmen 253RKS.
I had already unhitched and leveled up when I took this picture.

The best things about this floorplan are the walk around bed and the outside door to the bathroom rather than the bedroom. Makes much more sense to me!

I use a Reese weight distribution hitch with dual cam anti sway. It's an older model that I kept when I got rid of my old TT, but it works really well.

Default 1993 5th wheel with slide out

pulls great! I only pull short distance a few times a year. A big step up from the chevy 4.8l i had.

Default Sliding 5th wheel!!

hard to see how much it caved in from pic, but it was enough to put good bow in outside of tailgate. Thats what happens when a piece of firewood and a washer box made from 2x4's gets between sliding hitch and tailgate.
