well... no mean to offend you but you are over limit... by a little 460lbs on GVWR even with HD payload. This is an heavy trailer my friend, you must have close to 1800 pin weight

Drive safe and happy camping

Cheers

GVWR on your truck is 8200lbs because you have HD payload. You have over 4710 on the rear axel and 3950 at the front. In fact you carry 8660lbs in your truck where the max is 8200lbs. This is where I got 460lbs over limit.

17100 is not GVWR but GCWR and it's the same with or without HD payload. This is max combined weight. (truck + trailer)

Sorry, you may have HD payload and it's good you went to the scale but it is as much important knowing how to read the numbers.

Happy camping

Cheers

mark5w, nice lookin rig. A BEAST though for your truck.

My 5'r was 8601 stickered at delivery. I have the HD payload + Max tow and I am 'just' under my numbers and I mean just. That is combat loaded as well, but we don't take the rock collection.

Do you tow much in the hills etc? If so, I'd be a tad nervous with that combo. What hitch did you go with?
