I stayed in Motels, Hotels, five days a week for 15yrs and our TT is the best. We also had 3 kids and now take our GGKids w/us when we take the TT out. Started with two popups and now we have a hybrid... Would trade only to a Class C.... As you say:"We just take our Home with us"... Grreat Site enjoy all the PICs and help...

My wife only likes to camp out on the beach and ocean front property cost way to much so we bring our poor mans beach house with us.....but sadly the beaches up here are taking a beating.....

I just picked this beauty up last week. I've bought/sold 3 trailers in the last year, so hopefully this one will go soon. I buy all my trailers in the US, import them into Canada and sell them for a small profit. I have upgraded to this from a '94 pop up without spending any extra $$.

Also just put a set of Toyo Open Country ATII's (275/65/18) last week. They rock!

2012 wildwood heritage glen 272BH. 31 fit long and @5300lbs

Towing with a 2010 lariat screw. 5.4L auto. Tow pkg.
So far so good. No lack of power that's for sure.

Beautiful trailer!! Love the floor plan. I'm not sure if the dealer lied to you about the dry weight though?? That trailer is 6285lbs dry and a GVWR of around 9300lbs. Not sure what your payload is on your truck but i see you have the small mirrors so i don't think you have the max tow pkg. I would load it up and bring it to your local Cat Scale and see what you have for #'s.

In Canada tow mirrors don't come with max tow package, it's an additional add on when you order it

Yeah, my typo. 6300#.
Has a tow package, but not the MAX package (3.55's). I have the WDH and the Ford sway control and aftermarket electric brake controller as well.
The plan is to scale it this spring before I go to far with it. Truck had 20" "P" series rubber on it upon purchase (rode great, crappy for towing). Just bought FX4 take off GY 18" "LT" tires and (grey) rims for this summer.

When I bought the truck I only used a 8x10 snowmobile trailer and a 17' boat trailer behind the truck, and no any serious intention on buying a TT. Well, the "cottage/hunt camp" is on a 5mile boat access only river system, which at night is no big deal by myself, but I don't feel going with my 2 year old son is such a great idea. So I bought the TT for local camping. It'll only get hauled "local" ie within a 6-8 hr drive of home.

I agree that its a big trailer for the truck but it'll do for now.
Only thing I wish it had was the semi-automatic trans (whatever its called) where I could hold a certain gear. Tow mode is fine and dandy, but still allows upshifts when its not desired. I'd have bought a manual trans if it was offered (and I knew I was going to haul such a trailer). Maybe in a couple more years I'll upgrade to something F250 (like), but for now, I'm making due. Maybe and airbag set-up in the future. Once the warrantee is gone I'll look into a tuner of some kind and see if it will not allow the trans to shift at a selected point (out of 4th gear for example).
