Here is my rig all hooked up on the first ever test drive.
I set the WDH by myself but I think it's pretty level.
Couldn't get the brakes to lock up with gain at 10 so will have to adjust that.

Nice set up. What model of Grey Wolf is that? Im looking at the Wolf Pup 16bhs and wondering if I will need a WDH. I also have a 2"level on my truck so not sure if I'll sag too much. I have a 2017 XL FX4 pkg , 5.0 with 3.55.

It's a 17BHSE
We looked at 16 but we wanted double axle

Minutes prior to departing on our Spring Break trip to the OR Coast:

Parked at our first, 2 night stop at my in-laws:

This was the winter build. Built basically to scale...6 dots wide x 20 dots long. The trailer is also to scale with 2 functioning slide outs. Pretty comfortable for a Lego family of 4

Yea a tandem axle is preferable for me too. I wish my local RV dealer had a 17bhse model for me to look at. They look like something I would go for instead of the 16. They only had the larger 23 footers and up trailers, while nice to look at, they are way bigger than I want to deal with.

I found a 17BHSE but is 6 hours away. I really want to go with a tandem axle. Looks perfect for what I need. It is almost identical to the Wolf Pup that I have seen in person and have no issues buying sight unseen. I do have a question though. Can you tell me if the fold down couch makes a decent size bed (full or queen)?
Thanks.
