INCORRECT.

Lowering ball mount will only adjust the height of the nose. You must add a washer or raise the L brackets to adjust WD tension.

EJ - Review the Equalizer instructions and check your setup accordingly.

Lowering the head does increase WD. Not as much as a washer or l bracket but it does. It's also in the manual. Since it doesn't need a lot of adjustment that is why I suggested that he lower it first instead of doing both lowering and washer at the same time.

Oh yeah it does! I dropped the ball down on my Husky RB, and had to remove a shim as I put too much weight fore and aft and it made for a really sway happy trailer above 65. Dropping the ball changes the distance between the bar tip and trailer frame, increasing the gap, which increases the tension. Washers/shims that adjust head tilt move the bar tips up or down, decreasing/increasing the tension. Not all WDH have head tilt, which puzzles me how they adjust bar tension, but not having installed that type I will just leave it be until I do have one.

Very nice!

My wife and I have been looking at trailers and the Surveyor is "The Standard" by which we measure the others.

We have a list of things that we need and things we want and it seems the King Size bed is one of the limiting factors to finding the perfect one.

Can't wait for many more miles!

Hitched up to the F150 at the dealership.

Set up for some serious driveway camping!
That is the trailer we thought would be the one when we started looking at trailers.
If it had a King Bed in it we would probably have gotten it even if the bunk beds are kinda tight for grown kids.

Just a little tip, chock both sides of the wheel.

Otherwise, nice setup!

My version of these should be finished to day. I'm doing it more for trailer stability when parked than roll away protection.
