I'm really interested in the Grand Design 2800BH. Can anyone who owns one tell me the dry and gross weights listed on the sticker on the camper? I've learned the hard way that the weights online are sometimes not accurate at all.

Default New WDH

I upgraded to a equalizer WDH and after 700 miles through severe winds, I can tell you that the WDH hitch was the source of all my problems. Still felt the wind, but now it feels like like it won't take me off the road. The crosswinds were so severe that it folded my mirror in when driving 65mph. Now in Roswell, NM looking for aliens.

I will try and grab a pic of mine tomorrow. The weight sheet that came with the trailer had them listed a little more then their website showed for the dry weights, but not by much (around 200 more pounds overall dry weight and about 50 more pounds for the tounge).

Not sure how tall you are but the grand designs had one of the lowest ceilings of all the campers we looked at before upgrading. Just something to think about. I'm 6'-5" so little things like that are a big deal to me

No, it's a Rockwood Roo 21SS Hybrid. The truck hauls all the toys!

It has two queen bunk ends and a full slide almost the length of the trailer. Massive wide open space on the inside. When we had the two 80lb dogs it was a must!
We have 5 dogs, ranging from 5 lbs to 55 lbs. Did ya'll use a portable fence?
