Not bad, and really haven't had any issues. I do run a car tire on the rear of my bike for the increased weight carrying capacity.

Here's my new camper 34bhpr 37 feet over all it's 8800 lbs loaded with 3 slide outs, I've since readjusted the hitch to sit level getting the weight distributions set up right on the cat scale, tows very nicely

Just got back from a weekend stay at the lake
Question for you 5.0 guys. Took the interstate this time to lake, and truck was dropping into 4th and 3rd a lot to hold close to speed on hills. Thinking about regearing rear end, anything else you guys have done to improve hill climbs?

Wow a lot of shifting, what gear do u have also what's a rough weight on the trailor, ford sells the oem 4.10 pretty cheap includes the pinion bearings and seals I just did my 05 as the front set is the same and one pinion bearing different in rear all I can say is wow what a difference, I do have a Whipple super charger but with my camper above I'm 14300 pounds gcwr but my truck goes up just about ever hill around in overdrive effortless, the 5.4 does have a lower rpm torque curve than the 5.0 does, change the gears to 4.10 I bet it will stay in fifth

You don't technically have to do it on the first shot. You back it where you want. Then pull ahead or back up and slide the blocks in. Then pull up on them. Not that difficult. But it's a challenge.

Mine mileage has always been crap but with 3.73 gears it right around 17 round trip roughly 90 miles with the 4.10 it was 16.5 or so but I added long tube headers at the same time and the tail pipes are awfully black we are checking tune tomorrow, the 5.0 is strong power wise I just wish it the power it has with a torque curve like a 5.4 that would be a beast I mean the peak torque on the 5.0 is the 4200-4500 were as the 5.4 is 3100-3200 I'm sure all out that 5.0 gets the job done, as for towing the mileage did not really change on the highway going 72 mph I got mid 15s lol

It wasn't much fun! I guess I could point out that was my 1st time at a camp ground with a camper! Now, I grew up in the country and I've been backing trailers my whole life, but this is our first RV.
Thanks
