Went down to Riggins Idaho for some white water rafting. Stayed along the banks of the Salmon River. Also had some fun on the way to the campground. No idea how long i drove on the flat tire, nobody waved at us and it didn't slow the truck down at all. We noticed eventually that there was some movement in the side mirror so we pulled over to investigate. Fortunately the axles are mounted independently and the front one held the trailer up high enough so that the tireless wheel didn't touch the ground and destroy itself. Bought a new ten ply tire and continued on our way. The truck with the canopy in the pictures is my parents '09 Platinum. Runs in the family.

Lets see your campers being towed-image.jpgTook my wife and two grandsons camping this past weekend. First trip with new truck, first trip with our camper, and first time having the kids for a weekend. We had a great trip. Only glitch was when the brakes locked on the trailer. Turned out to be the disconnect cable to the brake module. Got some help from another camper. I recommend Drummer Boy Camping Resort in Gettysburg, Pa as a destination trip. great family campgrounds, lots of kids, nice camp sights, lots to do and see in area.Click image for larger version

Did it destroy the skirting right behind that tire? Better check the year on the rest of those tires. Nice looking setup though

Yes, it took out the curved metal that connects to the underbelly, some plastic parts of the underbelly the mud flap and the plastic fender. The trailer is not even two years old. They had to replace the valve stem on that wheel and after looking at the others, it looks like the valve decided to leak. The others are cracked and coming apart. ill be going to the repair place to see if i cant get any help under warranty and how much its gonna cost to fix. Regardless of what the place says, all wheels are getting new valve stems tomorrow. I had my folks follow me home to keep an eye on the other wheels to make sure i didn't have any other problems. I never did like the fact that the tires are barely rated for the weight of the trailer so we are gonna replace all of them with stronger ten plys. Im amazed that the other tire on that side didn't blow from holding all the weight.
