Lets see your campers being towed

I probably posted this in one of these thread 18 months ago, but here it is again. Loaded weight 9200-9500 lbs, loaded pin weight 1650 which puts me 500 lbs over the GAWR of my rear axle. 45K on the truck with 11K of towing this baby. I average 10 mpg and never wished for a bigger truck. Getting ready to replace my tires, but winter tires account for 9K of tire mileage.

Actually, my tires are all out of sync. I cut one the first day of a 30 day trip in late May, had to buy a Firestone AT to replace it, later swapped the GY Wrangler SRA spare and bought another GY to match. So it is only my rear tires I am replacing which will also be the SRA. It was just the most economical way to do it. I had originally planned to get all Michelin.

I have done the calculations. You could tow many 5th wheels within the payload limits if you get a regular cab F150 XL with ecoBoost, Maxtow, HD Payload, and 3.73 LS Diff. This is the configuration required by Ford to get the required payload rating.

Payload is just a number. I was 5-800 over mine and I didn't even squat enough to need helper Springs or bags! I had lariat with a low payload rating though. Clearly they are able to handle much more. I haven't run the numbers but does the truck weight of a regular cab xl and payload vs a fully loaded screw Platinum and payload work out correctly? Anyone check that?
