It's pretty cool to see so many half tons towing 5th wheels these days.
Just a few years ago it was pretty much unheard of.
Trucks sure have come a long way

It's made by Ice Castle out of Montevideo MN. It is a little heavy with the wood so I need a minimum of 20-24 inches of good ice to pull it out on the lake for ice fishing but that kind of ice is easy to come by around here in the winter. They have a ton of models to choose from, anything from a scout with 4 holes a couch and a furnace which is 6.5x8, all the way up to a 5th wheel model that has 8 holes, all the camping amenities you need and I think it's 8x28. It's freakin huge and I'd be scared to pull it on the ice unless I went up to the canadian border on lake of the woods.

The GVWR of mine is 5080 and and it's 8x16 with a 3 foot V on the front so the shell is 19 feet long and I don't add anything extra for ice fishing and never leave my fishing gear in it cause it stays out on the ice and I won't chance some jackass breaking in and stealing my stuff.

It has 9 holes for fishing thru, each hole has a 12volt LED light for fishing at night and the underside has been spray foam Insulated so you can walk around in your socks when fishing

Yeti is another brand that makes a similar rig with all aluminum frame, not as many goodies though. Lodge is another maker of similar rig also, more expensive too.

They don't make any with air suspension. You can get em with hydraulic or hand crank which is what mine is. One at each wheel and one one the tongue. Hydraulic is more weight and $$$$.

It is made by Keystone like yours, It is a Cougar High Country 291RLSHE. We traded our 12 Cougar lite 29RES for it. After an extended trip out west 6500 miles we decided we wanted more interior comfort

Since I have contributed some (slightly) off topic comments in this thread lately I guess it is time to add to the actual OPs topic! Haha

We are at the Watkins Glen KOA in the finger lakes, gorgeous facility from what we have seen so far.

We love our Cougar High Country. Saw one in the Grand Tetons last month also being towed by an F150.

Default New 2014 Heartland Wilderness 2175 RB - 1,000 mile road trip

Six days ago, I bought a brand new 2014 Heartland Wilderness 2175 RB travel trailer from a dealer near Davenport Iowa. I did my own delivery and made a road trip out of it. What a great time it was!

My truck is underpowered for this 5,000 pound trailer and I found I was max'ed out at 40 mph going up some of the hills in the Ozark mountains. Another 100 hp would have fixed that problem IMHO. Mileage was about 10 to 11 mpg cruising mostly at 60 mph.

Taking delivery of my new travel trailer at the dealer in Iowa.
