I've never removed the cap but it looks different than the city hook up connection. I think it's bigger like you just shove the hose inside it which is why I wanted a pressure tank so I don't have to keep filling my tank all the time. I'll check it out tomorrow. If what you describe is accurate that would fix my issue! Thanks.
You shove the hose in there a couple inches and full that tank up. Remove the hose and then connect it to the city connection and leave the water line turned on. Then open up the bypass to allow the water pump to suck water in from that holding tank. Turn on the water pump. Now the camper will get water from the campground line (city) but if the pressure is too low the pump will supplement the flow by drawing water from the tank to get the pressure back up. The holding tank will eventually need to be refilled again if the pump has to do a lot of drawing but probably that would take at least a couple days to empty out even with really low city pressure. That seems to work for me and it helps a lot with taking a shower vs trying to deal with a dribble of water.

Irv2 has a mobile app that works well. Active community too, although not as active as this forum.

Another great site is Dog & Trailer http://www.dogandtrailer.com.

Lots of great people and plenty of discussions.

My Eco and TT in Yellowstone yesterday. We started in Myrtle Beach, SC and are headed to Tacoma, WA. So far this truck has pulled amazing. No issues through the Appalachians, Black Hills, Big Horns, or the Tetons. Amazing engineering!

Dude that's over 6000 miles round trip. Hope you get points on a gas card or something.

Haha...it's a one way trip. However, over the entire trip I've averaged 8.8 according to the computer which has been very close to hand calculations so far. Flat land it gets closer to 10...mountains bring the avg down a bit.
