I think the RAS is a fine product, another issue may be that they put not so great C rated tires on these trucks just curious what you all think. When I tow my 28ft BH I feel sway but if I watch the trailer it's not moving I feel as if I'm getting a lot of sidewall flex and this is sort of my floaty sway I feel. I have the Goodyear SRA.

Yes, I have an 800-1000# WHD. Its cranked up enough to level it out, but I've tried 1 extra and 1 less link in the chains. No difference.

The thing is I believe the special lightweight frame used by Lance provides some of the bounce, but the shocks on the rear don't compensate enough.

When I pulled the stock ones off, they were "softer" than the softest setting on the Rancho's. I'll know in a week and a half when I do the Labor Day weekend trip and crank up the shock settings to 9!

Dunno, but I've always felt the bounce and sway, or rock'n'roll is more a suspension thing, and that Xtra springs, RAS, or heavy duty shocks are the answer. It seems Ford has really softened the F150 suspension so that it rides nice on a daily commute, but not so nice when loaded up.

As for tires, I've got P-rated and intend to change to LT-rated (E) when the originals are done. But that's more for the squirmy handling under load.

So suspension upgrades for the bounce, tire upgrades for the squirm. Does that make sense?

Now for that "floaty" feel I would recommend you reduce your intake of whatever drugs you're taking. (just kidding!)

I don't notice any sway nor bounce when pulling my Jayco 22FB (26.5' long) but I've got E rated LT tires and my truck has the HD Payload pkg. That makes me think there's something to your comment.

Think HD Payload (that comes with LT tires) was a good choice.

If only that option was available above the XLT more of us would have it. And we probably wouldn't be trying these aftermarket add-ons to stiffen our suspensions.

I don't have bounce anymore on mine.

even being lowered 3/5.

I put helper bag(100psi) and the same chain link as before and not much bounce.
(couple trip this was with 1 link less and the chain but went back to my original setup and it's perfect.)
I wasn't able to completly level the truck before my helper bag (750 WD)

I think you're right on with this observation. I don't have a TT yet, but in preparation I got the Bils 5100 and Michelin LTX2 E rated. Just with a normal use, average load (no TT), it carries a heavy load beautifully with no squirm OR bounce. Rides like a truck, corners like a Porsche!
NOTE: I immediately noticed better mileage (+1-1.5 mpg) with the 70psi E rated Michelins.

HD Payload: $830 CAD option on XLT or Lariat. I call that a good deal for what it includes.
Now if they would do something about the silly 7 lug business..
