Default 2005, XLT CrewCab 5.4 Triton, with Camper

Bought both within two weeks of each other new and went to Colo two weeks later with 1500 miles on the engine. Worried the whole time on long pulls, but it is still a grrreat truck....

New to the forum. Bought my f150 5.0L 9 days ago to tow my new Lance 1685 trailer. Only had 120 miles on the truck when we did our first maiden voyage. Scale has the trailer at 4200 lbs with all our cargo, water, gas, etc. barely noticed the trailer behind us. My first ford and very impressed. I've owned over a dozen Chevy trucks but this truck is quickly becoming one of my favorite trucks.

Lance makes great truck campers. I grew up camping in one.

Some great pics here. Thanks everyone for keeping the thread to it's original intent. There's enough arguing and fighting else where. It's really cool to see everyone's rig and to get helpful ideas from other RVers!

I've been pretty busy, so I haven't been able to check in. Can't wait to go camping but the way things are this year, I'll be lucky to get any trips in. Keeping my fingers crossed. Son got a new tent so he's all excited about using it somewhere besides the backyard. So our camping trips this summer may not even include the camper but I'm going to try.

Thanks for starting this subject. I too really enjoy the many pics of different camper set-ups. Not so much the negative comments about some set up that someone doesn't agree with. Hope you are able to get out this summer and enjoy the camper.
