Couldn't agree more. If he's not planning on keeping his F150 then go for it. I've got a 10 5.4 3.73 maxtow and pull 7200lbs and I do okay but that set up is totaly stupid. What a strain on that tranny and motor. @50,000 miles that truck will be like one with 100,000.

Well I took the truck and trailer loaded with everything. Truck weighed 7800 lb. trailer was 4050. And the commanders weigh 1500 each. Plus 1500 for the car hauler trailer. == 8550. So I'm well under the max tow of 11200 so it's no more strain then what your doing!!

Bob tailing with a pickup like ours is ignorant. I've seen many combos like that with 350s go south on decents, let alone 150s

He's legal and underweight. As long as he takes care of the trailer brakes, he'll be fine.

Fordrocks39, do you have brakes on the car hauler?

Was talking about cleareance, nothing else.

Won't comment on the weight because he didn't say how heavy his setup was. You can assume it is too heavy maybe it is not. If it is maybe he only pulls it twice a year for 20 miles...

Your good to go. I must admit, the commanders weigh more than I thought.
