A local RV repair place does it all the time for people who boondock a lot and need higher clearance. As it stands I have zero issues with sway even though the trailer tongue is a little high.
I would flip the axles only because I would be afraid of knocking off a tank drain or something else. My Coleman sits low as well, though not as low as how yours sounds, as I got it perfectly level all around, but low enough that some sites I have to pull it forward in order to drain the tanks because I can't get the flushking on. I also have a spare tire on the rear bumper that has bent the mount, I went into a lot on one trip and caught the street with it. Since I plan to upgrade, maybe this year, I haven't given any thought to flipping the axles on mine.

1980 something all steel 21' open pit car trailer. Redecked with pressure treated lumber, 1/4" steel plate welded to frame with 12,000 pound winch, tongue box with all the straps and lit like a semi truck.

I flew from Whitehorse to Edmonton yesterday to pick up my new truck and trailer and now I’m driving it back to the Yukon.
just made it to Fort Nelson and the drive had been horrible weather wise so far

truck is 2019 F-150 Limitied and the trailer is a 2019 Steakth 8.5 x 20 all aluminum- o face to say , I’ve had many ford trucks in the last 30 years but this 2019 is the best one yet and blows way past any expectations I ever had.

Kudos Ford , you just keep getting bette and better

hope this link works , trying to post from my phone at the hotel

When I think "Yukon", I dont think "22s." Do you run a different setup in the winter? I'm assuming you have a season you refer to as winter up there.

Thank you,

Not sure but I know it's hefty. I felt the difference between this one and the U-Haul aluminum ones I used to rent all the time.

First time I’ve towed with this. The rear squats too much. Will need to put an air suspension on or something. My last truck was an 06 F250 4x4 and it didn’t squat at all. This one does. I had a 2011 King Ranch 4x4 w the 6 foot bed on it and a 24’ bay boat before and that didn’t squat at all. This is a 24 Yamaha boat with a shorter neck on the trailer. Not sure of the tongue weight but it may be more. Nonetheless, gonna get something done for rear end.
