Parking lot full. I’ll just pull over between these No Stopping Anytime signs....
What’s that cop doing parked in front of me??
2013 XL with a Trail Manor 3023 at South Carlsbad Beach CA. First tow of new to me trailer.
Took a 12% mpg hit going to Phoenix.

Mbushaw, Man of Mystery. lulz.
Hey, so, what was the cop doing parked in front of you?
And, I'm on my first cup of coffee so I'm still a little slow (who am I kidding, I'm always a little slow...), you took a 12% hit to what mileage figure? Thanks.
You Man of Mystery, you.
Nice seeing all these trailer pics! I'm about to hang a Class III Ford Accessories receiver on the back of my 5.0 XLT. I've already added a 7-pin connector, harness, and Ford ITBC to run electric brakes. None of this will increase my truck's as-built Tow Capacity Rating of 5000 lbs/500 tongue, but it will give me options for trailer ball height adjustments and also serve as a pick point for off-highway recovery either as the tug or the victim.

Gas mileage from San Diego to Phoenix usually around 15. With trailer it was 13.0
Also drove slower, but that never seems to make that much difference when I’m empty.

My 2018 Lightning Lariat
I am actually awitching from a CostCo Husky WD Hitch to the Blue Ox SwayPro 1000lb WD hitch
This is the 28' trailer I hauled out of the Canadian badlands earlier. Over 5000lbs, valleys and hills, headwinds, and she never even went over 2500rpm or 7th gear.
V6 3.5L EcoBoost with 10-Speed automatic Transmission. I averaged ( Canadian ratios now ) 20.3L/per 100kms. She pulled it like it wasnt even there.
