Bender,

So I did weigh it once I loaded it up with mostly what we would take with us and it came in a little over weight. Nice surprise was the trailer in the brochure was to weigh 7850 with a pin weight of 1320. Yellow sticker says 7550. At the scales she came in at 7720lbs. The pin weight came in at 1120lbs. So my GAWR on the rear axle is 4050 and I'm at 4260, and for the vehicle GVWR of 7350, I'm at 7900. For the GCWR my max is 15,100 and I came in at 14,500 so good there. I do plan on installing air bags for the rear end, even though it didn't really sag much at all and felt fine pulling it home. Haven't taken a trip with it yet. Planning one in two week to Az. Since we don't go more then maybe 5-6 trips a year, I'm thinking (hoping) I will be ok. Don't have the money for a new truck this year, but maybe next. Of course the dealer seemed to think I would be ok.

I am using a 16K 5th wheel hitch. Dealer installed a slider hitch, even though I didn't think I needed one.

I do like how it tows, just different from my TT we traded in. Takes a little more finesse backing up.

pulls great, truck is rated at 9800lbs, trailer is 990 on the tongue dry, not max tow just regular tow package. just spent 2 months in okc for work and drove it all the way from long island. 1600 miles each way without any issues. 9.5 mpg on the way home. i personally dont see any need to upgrade my truck just because some people think i need to. these new half tons are fully capable of what their rated for, you just have to know how to drive them. if i got a new one i think the only thing i would get different is the 3.73s and max towing package, ( i got mine with 11k on it and a great price or else i wouldve ) but its not because mine struggles. just for the more payload and so my rpm sweet spot would be at a lower speed.
weighed it on the way out there just because and i was within all my ratings.
total weight was 14400lbs and truck i think tops out at 15400 or something close to that.
