Ladder/Kayak Rack 2014 F150
Hi all,
I have 2014 F150 Screw short bed. I currently have a Bakflip F1 cover on it and love it BTW.
What I need is: Some kind of rack system so I can haul two kayaks on top, have room at the back (of the rack)for when I pull my travel trailer, portable enough to take off when not using, and also, still incorporate my Bakflip cover.
Any advice ya'll have would be appreciated.

Backflip shows on their website the TracRac system installed with their tonneau covers. Don't know it it would work with yours, but worth a little checking.

In the early 90s I put a ladder rack on an old Toyoto pick up.
I hauled a couple of canoes, or 3-4 Kayaks regularly. Worked great.
Best of all I found one used for $50...
Now days I haul utilizing a bed extender in my F-150.
Less lifting, and less hauling to White Water.

Jetta03: Can you tell me the model Thule rack that you are using. I'm thinking of doing something similar. Also, what is the length of your kayaks and did you have to strap them to the front of the vehicle or just to the rack its self?
Any information you can provide is appreciated!
