Just a comparison between the 2011 hurt locker test and 2014 HD test:
2011- all 19,400 lbs trailer, all close to 27,500 lbs combined weight.
2014- avg. 20,800 lbs trailer, around 29,500 lbs combined weight. (varies)
2011 Davis Dam: GM 11:11; Ford 11:51; Ram 12:54
2014 Davis Dam: GM 12:25; Ford 11:32; Ram 12:49
2011 Eisenhower: GM 8:47; Ford 10:11; Ram 11:19
2014 Eisenhower: GM 9:04; Ford 9:03; Ram 9:23
Ignoring the weight difference between the years, GM lost time in both Davis Dam and Eisenhower while Ford improved a good margin on the Davis Dam and Eisenhower. Lastly, Ram had no change on the Davis and a HUGE increase on the Eisenhower.

Man I really want to trade my F150 on a SRW F350. That power stroke is a monster! I'm a little concerned about reliability though. Do the F250/F350 platforms suffer from the same plague of problems like the F150? My truck has been into the shop repeatedly for 2 TSB's (driveshaft pop and tranny moan) and it hasn't even cracked 20k miles yet! Makes me less hesitant to peek at a (dare I say it) Chevy 3500.
