Mine actually is up about 1" with 5psi in the bags. The 5000's do firm up the ride a bit, but it makes for a solid ride.

That's what I been reading about the 5000, it makes the ride really rough unloaded but amazing when loaded. I'm leading towards the airlift 2000 for smoother ride when unloaded and I assume it will Handel my TT just fibe.

Don’t forget that now you have even more suspension to control. The stock shocks will be even more overwhelmed than the already are. They are underdamped and crap on the 15-17s. Better shocks just became even more important.

Where are you folks installing the compressor? I have been crawling around under my 2016 Lariat and cant seem to find an optimal location.
Any pics would be very helpful!

Don't really need a compressor. Use hand tire pump for $15. Only takes five pumps and at 25psi for my setup. Simple, no frills and reliable.

That's what I am using now. It's not ideal and I have a brand new air compressor sitting on my counter

A good one will run you closer to $50 than $15, but it should also last damn near forever.

I change my own motorcycle tires and regularly just use a good floor pump; I've also used it a few times to make a 4-5 PSI adjustment in the truck tires, which takes a little effort but was easier than dragging the portable compressor around.. I've also put about 15 PSI into a Suburban tire, but that sucked and was mostly so I had enough air in the tire to get it to a compressor.

searched all over myself recently. After a week of looking I read the instructions again. Can’t be near heat sources or get wet. I sent it back and will get a 12v inflator. I’m using the bike pump now but people look at me like I’m crazy when I get it out
