Yes I am. Ball and hitch are bith 2" It's a small amount of slop but on these crappy Midwest roads it's quite annoying.

Do you have room for flat or fender washers. I've used this trick with a bike rack in a Curt bumper mount on the back of my camper.

I'm gonna likely see/hear about this.....welder----buddy/friend whatever....


low setting add some lines/ build up to the recievers/ball ends... file/grind to fit... or throw the hitch away and buy another...lol....

The old-school trick is to replace the crosspin with a 5/8 x 3.5" bolt, grade 5 or better, and tighten it until the slop goes away.

I have some minor slop in mine but i never feel it from driver seat.

Perhaps a bit more tongue weight might smooth things up.
