I used the Yakima Streamline system and is fantastic. There is no damage to the truck and it's very solid. It's easy to put on and take off....i only put it on in the summer when I need it. I would buy the Yakima system again for sure!

Any reason you can't put them in the RV while on the road?

Getting them through the door might be impossible.

I have the trac-rac and was wondering - do the Yakima components just fit right in the trac-rac cross rails? I was looking at a set of Yakima racks on a truck at work the other day and the extrusion they use for the cross rails looks very similar...

These are older Yakima cradles - i had to buy an adapter bracket that goes around the TracRac rails for the bolts to go through.

Both Yakima and Thule are very helpful with fitment questions, as is TracRac so you could try them to ask about your specific Yakima attachments

Since Thule owns TracRac you might get better fitment with Thule products.

I use the Thule Xsporter Pro it clamps to the bed rails and I mount two bikes and two 18' kayaks. It is also height adjustable so if it m not carrying the kayaks I can lower the rack and get it below the level of the cab. Works very well but you can't have a bed cover with it.
