Certainly not in 2014, at least. My OEM tires are definitely E rated.

That is why no P in front of the size as they are not P metrics.

Besides if I wanted real LT tires, I would have bought a truck they are needed for, an F350, but I have no need for that robust a tire, I don't overload the truck.
Keep telling yourself those are not p metric.

What difference does it make? They handle the truck and trailer better than those crap year "LT" tires ever did. I'm happy with them. Besides LT stands for Light Truck and they are made for Light Truck.

I don't overload my truck like others gleefully state they do, so I have no need for hard riding Load E tires. I bought tires designed for light trucks and SUV's, and they handle very well.

I've found there to be a lot of truth to this. I went from OEM P rated 265/70R17 to OEM 275/55R20 (no P but same load index and Michelin AT2) and found them to handle much better when towing. Not as squishy and I attributed it to less sidewall to flex.

Well, I just found this quote right in the builders guide for the 2014, 2016, and 2017 F150 builders guide:

(3) Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) is determined by the rated capacity of the minimum component of the axle
system (axle, computer-selected springs, wheels, tires) of a specific vehicle. Front and rear GAWRs will, in all
cases, sum to a number equal to or greater than the GVWR for the particular vehicle. Maximum loaded vehicle
(including passengers, equipment and payload) cannot exceed the GVWR.
So the wheels should be included in the RAWR of 4800 lbs, not sure why they are specified lower.
