Has anyone plowed yet?
To my knowledge there is only one plow specifically designed for 2012-13 f150s made by Snoway. Correct me please if I'm wrong.
So has anyone spent the 5k and bought one?
What did you think?

yes we've bought 2 sno-way plows. we have 2 seasons under our belt on our 2011's and plowed over 1000 parking lots with no issues at all. my dealer installed stronger front springs to help carry the weight of the plow.we have generated enough income to pay for both trucks and the new plows in 2 seasons.these plows work very well and i now prefer them to our old brand plow and chevy truck. living in canada we see lots of snow from nov-march/april.

I used to have a sno-way (they're made in my area) on our 2006 F150 plow truck 7 lug HD with snowplow prep. The plow was fine, liked the wireless remote control, HATED taking it off and on, worst system ever with those pins and levers that had to be spot on when it was -20 and blowing. Did they ever change that? Western has a much simpler setup.

they are not the easiest to put on/off. they do feature down-pressure now and the wireless remote is good so far. when u purchase them new they have a 5 year warranty.arctic and western are gravity plows with chain lifts and are much more simple to deal with.

They had the down pressure feature on mine. I think the 5 year warranty is new. I never needed any work on ours in 4 years of semi commercial work. Their salters are another story. That needed yearly maintenance, but that's to be expected. Make sure you keep some fresh batteries handy for the remote.

F150 Forum
We make plows that will go on the 2011-2013 Ford F-150 4WD w/ EcoBoost.
Here is our webpage for the plow: http://shop.agricover.com/product/snowsporthd
Our plow is a bit different from others. It engages using gravity rather than hydraulics.
If you have any questions about it, please let me know.

We don't get a lot of snow where I live, south central indiana so spending that kinda dough on a plow just wouldn't make much sense unless you had a contract to clear parking lots for local businesses. Plus the manual for my truck says plowing is not recommended. I did see a truck identical to mine with a snow plow on it a couple weeks ago but it was obvious the plow was made for a much bigger truck because his front tires were toed in severly and his front end was squated pretty good. I'd say he'll be lucky if he makes it till spring before his front end falls apart.
