Default Front receiver 2011 2wd EcoBoost?

I see that their are now front receivers for the 4wd EcoBoost but will they work on a 2wd?

Would love to be able to "push" my trailer into the storage unit.

Depends on the trailer. With our fishing boat I wouldn't worry about it but a heavy TT might be different. Also would depend on how frequent and how much turning is involved. Slow or no speed turning is stressful on any front end.

It would be nice to have the winch up there when we go to the mountains. I already have a Warn winch on a cradle that I used on the last truck.

I dunno. It doesn't look like the Curt or Draw-tite models will work with a 2wd Ecoboost. And I couldn't find any others ...

You might ask tech support at etrailer.com or go directly to the manufacturer.

I've been looking into this also for my '08. 99% of its use is planned for as place to put a receiver mounted winch if needed, maybe for my small 500lb cap. hitch carrier if I see a need.
