First towing experience with Ecoboost
Just finished my first camping trip in my 2013 F150 Supercrew with the EB. This truck replaced a 2004 F150 Supercrew with a 5.4. I was impressed with the power and the ability to quickly get up to speed. Our travel trailer weighs almost 8000# and it was no problem for the Ecoboost. The 5.4 did an OK job, but you could really tell something was hooked up to the truck. The factory brake controller also did an excellent job vs. the Prodigy brake controller I had in the 2004. Fuel mileage is a little better with the Ecoboost (maybe .5 MPG better), but I was not expecting much, if any, improvement. Overall, Ford really has done an excellent job in making the F150 a great tow vehicle.

Great to hear! Just curious, what type of travel trailer? You should post a pic in the 'Let's see your campers' thread!

I,too, just returned from our first camping trip with our new truck. We went to Lake Cuyamaca in the San Diego mountains about two hours from the house. The lake and capmground are at about 5,000 ft, so it was a mild test for the Ecoboost, which just turned 1K in miles. It pulled like a champ, barely felt our 2720 Trailmanor (4,000 lbs loaded). Only got 13.8 MPG on the way up (just not broke in yet) but got 17.2 coming back down the hill. Here's a couple of photos:

I actually passed someone on a two lane road doing under 40 when the posted speed limit is 55 pulling my camper. Passed them like I didn't have that camper back there.

Fishing has been pretty good this season, but this last trip, not so much. In two days of fishing, I barely got the "skunk" off. Not going back until early spring.

I've always wanted a diesel and I have always had a boat.
I got the chance to pull my current wakeboard boat with a duramax and now with my EB. I am simply amazed at how well the EB yanks the load from a standstill. It is not a diesel, but it is diesel-like.
