F150 truck camper and tow a car trailer ?
Checking if anyone has done this
2014 F150 4x4 3;73 rear , reg cab , long box - 5100 lb ,tow package , 5 liter, timbren kit , high weight tire rating
looking at lightweight 8' bed length pop up truck camper 1550 lbs
truck gvw is 7250 lb so i'm good
but looking at pulling my 18 ' enclosed Haulmark car trailer with old car -total weight 6700 lb
500lb tongue weight so still under the 7250 on truck
total gvw for truck and trailer is 15,100 lb max
total would be 13350lb approx so that is fine
but can a F150 and 5 liter haul / tow all this ?? just interested in doing speed limit for these trips
anyone have a similar camper and boat combo that works ?
only looking at doing this combination 3 times a year 2.5 hrs each way -London Ont . to Canadian Tire Motorsports Park and back .
currently the stock 5 liter pulls better than my old 99 F250 7.3 liter diesel that was modded
Thanks

Honestly why even ask the question, you know you will be overloaded.

You're going to have the tail wagging the dog. You'll really be taxing the rear axle / wheel bearings too.

imho: you are going to be overloaded and even though it is a relatively straightforward trip I'd hate to see you end up on next season's "401 Heavy Rescue" :-)

Trying to figure it out!
I know, we all do it to an extent. I've done it more than a few times. But I won't do it on long trips or when I need to go faster than 30-40mph. The risk isn't worth the 'reward'.
