Yes my origanal mirrors had turn signals, the new mirrors come with the wiring that you will have to run to a power source for the running light, there is a tutorial video on this forum, also you will lose your puddle light if you currently have them

Thanks Tony and Mike for the video. Now if some warmer weather would get here I'd wire in the marker lights on the mirror and dump the puddles.

Love the mirrors man,THANK YOU!

How do you tap into a power source for the running light? Should I tap right into one of my running lights up front? I'm thinking that would be easiest, but could be wrong. Also, is the rest plug and play? Thanks for the info and help

Just tap into the power for your mirror switch. It'll keep the running light on whenever the ignition is switched on.

How did you wire this into your mirrors for the running lights? Do you have any pics of your install?

Default Probably been asked, but. . ..

Ok, These questions may have been asked but in 58 pages I missed it!

I have a 2012 Lariat with the following options

Power adjust
power fold
memory
heat
autodim (driver side only)
signal
puddle lamp

I called the 1aauto.com tech line and was told that with the puddle lamp and auto dim option that the pin out on the connector wouldn't be right and that these mirrors won't work. They also thought I would get an idiot light on the dash as the puddle lamps and the autodim on the driver mirror wouldn't be hooked to anything.

Can anyone tell me if they have replaced the standard mirrors with the options I have listed and if they ran into any issues with pinouts or idiot lights.

Also, are these breakaway in the event they are impacted from the rear?

Thank you!
Larry

the lights I'm looking at:

None of the tow mirrors have auto dim. The puddle lamp is the marker light unless you wire the marker light into you parking lights. Order them. You will be fine. Almost everyone on here had and lost the auto dim feature

I wasn't worried about not keeping auto dim. That's no big deal. I was more concerned with wires being plug and play and not causing an idiot light on the dash.

You will lose auto dim and puddle light, they will be plug and play, they will come with wiring for a marker light which took the place of the puddle light, there is no idiot light on the dash
